The test design of GEPT Kids
The GEPT Kids test is designed as a comprehensive assessment tool that tests whether beginners can comprehend and communicate in basic English. Instead of assessing whether candidates can use correct forms of English vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation, communication is more important (with the focus on meaning rather than form). GEPT Kids is aligned with CEFR A1 level. Candidates are encouraged to take a CEFR A2 level test such as the Elementary level GEPT in the future once they have achieved a higher level of English proficiency.
